Robert
Sackey has been coaching teams in the Bay Area for over 17 years.
He has experience with youth and high school teams as well as the
woman's semi-pro team , the San Francisco Nighthawks and the Ghana
men's and women's national teams the Black Stras and the Black Queens.
MAVERICKS
CLASS 1 YOUTH TEAMS
Robert
Sackey is the Technical Director for ACCYSL Mavericks competitive
soccer program for ages U10 - U19. He selects coaches and and oversees
the training and development of all teams. He is currently the head
coach for 3 Mavericks teams:
The
U12 Girls Mavericks
placed 1st in their Golden State Soccer League flight for Fall 2006.

U-12 Mavericks Fall Season:
Overall Record: 20-4-2
Tournament Record: 12-2-2 (3rd place, 1st place, 1st place, 2nd place)
League Record: 8-2 (1st place)
Overall Clean Sheets: 18!
Overall Goals For/Against: 82/12
League Goals For/Against: 24/6
They
advanced in all tournaments they entered, winning both the Stockton
Fall Classic Tournament and the Chico Sprys Tournament and placed
third at the Castro Valley Shootout. In the Placer Foothill Cup in
October 2006 they gave up only one goal, losing the championship game
1-0 to FC Crush, a team from Seattle Washington.
The
U17 Girls Mavericks Blue
team played in the Golden State Soccer League and won 2 tournaments
in fall 2005, one in Las Vegas, Nevada as well as the Placer Foothill
Cup in October 2005. The core of this team of girls has been coached
by Robert Sackey since U13 age group and have taken home many CYSA
tournament trophies as well as indoor soccer championships.
Every player on the team that tried out for a high school varsity
team made it onto a varsity team as freshmen players. Seven players
were selected onto the Olympic Development Program's District team,
and goalie, Alexandra Krzyzoziak, was accepted onto the Olympic Development
Program's State team.
The
U18 Boys Mavericks
play in the Northern California premier League.

HIGH
SCHOOL SOCCER
Robert
Sackey developed a varsity soccer program for both the boys and girls
at Head Royce School in Oakland. CA.
He worked with the boys program 7 years and the girls program for
3 years.
At
El Cerrito High School, in El Cerrito
CA, he developed and coached the girls varsity program. The ECHS Gauchos
placed 2nd in their league for winter season 2002-03. Mr Sackey coached
at ECHS for 12 years, and has recently left that position to make
time for other teams.
WOMEN'S
SOCCER
In
January, 2004, Robert began coaching the San
Francisco Nighthawks, the Women's Premier League (WPSL).
On March 17, 2004, the Nighthawks had the opportunity to play against
the Japanese National Team at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco, CA.
They finished first in the Golden Gate Women's Premiere Division for

Black Queens
are the Women's National Soccer team of Ghana. Mr Sackey worked with
